Comment by KRNadreau on October 17, 2012 at 9:59pm Hi everyone. I write fiction and publish it for Kindle. Wouldn't mind some tips on going legit with a real publishing company.
Comment by kate loving shenk on October 17, 2012 at 11:42pm I think a promotion plan is important, so as to avoid "overwhelm."
Comment by Jackie Paulson on October 18, 2012 at 1:21am I just published my new poems book on create space. What ways are successful to get the word out?
Comment by Robyn Opie Parnell on October 18, 2012 at 2:51am Jackie, I use facebook, twitter and Linked In for promoting my books. I also have a website and several blogs. I do interviews for other blogs and participate in blog tours. Selling in person at author visits/events/workshops is still the best way for me. This is off the top of my head. If I think of anything else, I'll let you know. All the best. I wish you every success!
